Culture is like good design
It’s the things you’re prepared to notice.
It’s a million small actions or the individual details that someone choose to care about.
Design at its best frames the unusual and celebrates diversity. Its mistakes make it human. It’s made up of complex emotions.
It’s not facts or conformity.
It becomes true to itself when it feels like it has a life of its own.
I’m speaking about building culture and design in organisations at this Friday’s #govdesign meet up in London.
