Raise your expectations

A good rule of thumb.

Don’t accept the low expectations of your teams, clients, or the sector you work in.

Everyone has the opportunity to challenge what’s happening around them. This is whether you have permission to do so, or not.

Challenge people to do more with less. Challenge them to be wrong as much as they’re trying to be right. To be brave, and to put more of themselves into their work.

Try to be more creative, clearer, and more decisive in order to keep pushing things forward.

Be prepared to be ambitious enough that it makes you proud to go to work and contribute something. For your family, your friends, and most of all for yourself.

Don’t accept low expectations. Raise them.

Aim higher and stretch yourself. Prepare to commit to what seems out of reach and help others to do the same.

Have great expectations.
